After School And Summer Learning Program

Dandelion Care offers a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment designed to help students strengthen academic skills while participating in engaging enrichment activities.

Our program provides daily instruction in Math and English, individualized homework support, and targeted tutoring to reinforce classroom learning and build confidence.

This program is specifically tailored to emergent readers in adverse living areas and is designed to close learning gaps while nurturing growth and self-belief.

We proudly serve Kindergarten through 5th grade, with teacher aides heavily in place to provide additional support and ensure students receive individualized attention.

Program Structure And Instruction

Students participate in small-group lessons tailored to their grade level. Instruction focuses on:

Sample Daily Schedule

3:00–3:15 PM – Check-In And Snack

Students arrive, enjoy a healthy snack, and transition into a calm and structured learning environment.

3:15–4:00 PM – Math Instruction And Homework Support

Certified tutors provide individualized and small-group instruction in math skills, homework completion, and grade-level practice. Lessons focus on strengthening foundational skills, improving problem-solving strategies, and building confidence.

4:00–4:45 PM – English And Language Arts Instruction

Students receive focused instruction in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary development. Activities include guided reading, writing practice, and literacy-based games that reinforce core skills.

4:45–5:15 PM – Enrichment And Skill-Building

Students engage in hands-on enrichment activities such as STEM challenges, reading circles, educational games, and project-based learning that promote creativity and teamwork.

5:15–5:30 PM – Wrap-Up And Dismissal

Tutors review completed work, set goals for the next session, and prepare students for pick-up.
